Machine wash or hand wash in warm water. We recommend washing it inside a lingerie bag. Hang dry, or tumble dry on low. Do not bleach. Do not iron.

Dunno. Can you run, bike, and swim normally? The suits are streamlined and made for people who move: dancers, athletes, stunt performers, and circus performers all wear them.

Yes. The artwork is original ShapeShifterZ artwork, designed in-house. Nothing is borrowed from a movie, a game, or a franchise.

Yes, and it's FREE with every suit order. Fill out the Custom Fit form and we'll fit the pattern to you on the computer before anything is printed. Custom fit helps us match your chest, waist, and hips for a better fit.

Yes. We custom fit every suit using your height, weight, and measurements.

All in inches: chest/bust, waist, hips, mid thigh, upper thigh, leg inseam, outseam, calf, ankle, bicep, wrist, sleeve length, head circumference, and neck circumference. Height and weight help most. Need help? See our Performer Measuring Guide.

Quarter inches are fine. Use decimals (.25, .5, .75) so the form accepts them.

No. Send your real body measurements. We build in the right amount of stretch for each fabric and garment, so please don't add allowance or seam room.

Measure over the padding and tell us about it in the notes.

Yes. Come back to the Custom Fit page any time and fill it in, or add details you forgot.

Each wearer gets their own fit record. Submit one Custom Fit form per person and include your order number so we can match them up.

No, please don't. We only need your measurements. (Hand tracings for gloves are the one exception, and those are optional.)

S/M, L/XL, and Custom Fit. Most women are S/M and most men are L/XL. If you have extra small hands, extra large hands, or you're big and tall, choose Custom Fit.

Send your height and weight, plus a tracing of your hand on a full sheet of 8.5 x 11 inch paper (the paper gives us the scale). Lay your hand flat and trace around it, fingers slightly spread. None of it is required, but it all helps.

Yes. All of our gloves are touchscreen friendly.

Long-finger gloves use more fabric and more sewing time, so they cost more. Pick the finger length you like when you order.

Masks come in XS/S, S/M, and M/L. Accessories are general sized. Custom fit applies to suits (and Custom Fit gloves), unless you ask us about something else.

1 to 2 weeks, same as everything else we make to order.

Made-to-order suits take about 1 to 2 weeks to make, plus shipping. Ready to Ship pieces go out in 48 to 72 hours. Custom commissions run 3 to 8 weeks, depending on the design.

Yes. Rush fees are 15% for a 4-day turnaround, 30% for 3 days, and 50% for 2 days. Rush fees are non-refundable.

Message us first. Returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days. You have 24 hours after ordering to change measurements or cancel. If your suit doesn't match the measurements you submitted, we'll remake or alter it for FREE within 30 days. Report damage, defects, or the wrong item within 3 days of delivery, with photos.

Not covered: wear and tear, stunt or performance damage, alterations by someone else, care-instruction mistakes, and changes to your body after measuring. See our full return policy.

Yes. Tell us what you want and we can probably do it. We've made custom pieces for dance troupes, drill teams, contortionists, and individual performers. Start on the Custom Costume Commissions page.

If you have the rights to use it, yes. It's usually about $50 to add.

Custom commissions run 3 to 8 weeks, depending on design complexity, budget, and how busy the studio is. We reply within 2 business days.

We don't copy trademarked characters. We'll happily make something original in that spirit.

Most designs, yes. Send us the link and tell us which one you mean. Colorways and details can often be adjusted.

Yes. Send us 3 JPEGs of the color you want.

It can, especially on light colors. Do your makeup first, protect the neckline with a towel or scarf while you work, and set it with powder before you dress.

Absolutely. Hand stitching is the safest way to attach things to stretch fabric. Avoid heat or hot glue directly on the print.

You can, but alterations by someone other than us aren't covered by our remake policy. If it needs a tweak, message us first.
